We at Mwangaza are looking for the following volunteers:
1. TEACHER who is capable of teaching either in nursery, primary or secondary school. We look for a person who can teach subjects like English, arts, sports, sciences or religion. Experts and non-experts are welcome to come and join our team for 1-3 months. We can train you if you have the will to become a teacher, but have no experience.
2. EXPERTS IN VOCATIONAL WORK like builders, electricians, gardeners, carpenters etc. to come and teach our secondary school youths once a week and otherwise to help us with our other projects.
3. SOCIAL WORKERS such as nurses and counselors to help with the community people (elders, children, youth and families). We are establishing a peer education programme and we need more guidance and help with that.
4. IT-expert and fund-raiser. We need someone who could help us to make a proper internet site, brochure and to help us find funds for our projects.
We can set up a programme for you depending on your will and skills. We will respect your wants and feelings in fullness.

You are free to come for one week or for one year. We will set a programme for you depending on what you want.
We will look after you and make sure you are safe and feel comfortable. You can live alone in a simple accommodation or live with a host family or stay in a fancy villa with other international volunteers.
